The council of Staggwood is made up of a triumvirate.
President - Head of Council
Manages and facilitates the other offices
Manages the sphere of Staggwood Business
Head Story Marshal - Council Members
Charged with keeping the story, guiding it to the council's wishes
Organizes and runs Events
Manages the sphere of Story
Head Combat Marshal - Council Members
Charged with the safety of combat
Runs fighter practices
Manages the sphere of Combat
Any of the officers has veto power within their sphere. A concern not clearly within a sphere is handled by voting between council members.
Election
The term for all offices is 2 years. Elections are held to elect new officers in the first month of every even year. New officers take their positions on April 1st of the year they are elected in. Active members of Staggwood will vote with a simple majority of active members determining the elected officer.
Council Guidelines
Story Trumps Mechanics. Facilitate fun.
Secretary is a duty, which can be taken on by any particular council member as determined by the council. Secretary will keep the documents and minutes of Staggwood and manage the treasury.
Voting
All for 1 - If all agree on an issue, the issue carries.
Two against 1 - if two agree on an issue, the issue carries
Every man for himself - if no one agrees, the issue does not carry.
Membership:
"Staggwood is a state of mind."
The name "Staggwood" refers to the Eldaraenth chapter located in the St. Louis Area.
The name "Staggwood Shire" refers to an in character organization, to which members of the"Staggwood" chapter may or may not belong.
Membership in the chapter of Staggwood is by petition, with all reasonable individuals accepted by the council. Membership may be revoked by unanimous vote by the council. Members become inactive after 3 months of not attending meetings, practices, events, or contacting members of thecouncil.
Membership in Staggwood Shire is by invitation after petition.
