Perrin stalked around the camp for what seemed like the millionth time…Only so many hours in the day could be devoted to meditation and reading ancient books that almost always provided more questions than answers.

Day by day he started to suspect that this task might be impossible but he certainly wasn’t going to head home with his tail between his legs, talking about impossibilities. With a steadying breath, Perrin fixed himself to the rock where he had spent the majority of the last 2 months and began to meditate once more. Patience was something he knew he would have to learn if he expected to improve his power with the magics and complete his task.
